Old Dominion University will award academic credit to JFSC graduates of the Joint and Combined Staff Officer School and Joint and Combined Warfighting School seeking graduate degrees in History or International Studies at Old Dominion University.

JFSC graduates seeking a master's degree in History at Old Dominion University who have completed the following course work will be awarded 6 semester hours of History electives at the graduate level.

  • JFSC Core Curriculum
    • Any Two of the Following:
    • US Southern Command and the Latin American Region
    • Low Intensity Conflict, Old War/New War
    • Contemporary Foreign Policy Issues
    • Nationalism and Ethnicity for the Military Planner
    • War in the 20th/21st Century
    • China and Pacific Security
    • Civil and Military Relations

JFSC graduates seeking a graduate degree in International Studies at Old Dominion University who have completed the following course work will be awarded 6 semester hours, 3 semester hours for an IS 5ELE and 3 semester hours for an IS 6ELE.
