Meet with your degree program advisor.
Submit an expanded resume for department faculty to review and approve. See Expanded Resume Samples.
After receiving departmental approval, submit portfolio workshop application form; You will recieve access to an on-line portfolio video and receive guidelines.
Experiential Learning assigns you to a faculty assessor.
Meet (e-mail/phone/fax) with faculty assessor and/or Director of Experiential Learning as needed.
Submit completed portfolio for each undergraduate course equivalent (section) or graduate course equivalent (section) to Experiential Learning. The assessment fee for each section is 50% of the in-state tuition, for a three-semester hour course.
Experiential Learning sends portfolio to assessor(s).
Faculty Assessor(s) review, make recommendation for credit award and return to Experiential Learning.
Experiential Learning forwards the credit award recommendation to the student and the University Registrar.
