Students participating in the experiential learning portfolio option will be charged a one-time workshop fee and a portfolio assessment fee equal to 50% of the current approved in-state on-campus rate for undergraduate and graduate courses. Students participating in the experiential learning departmental examination or knowledge-based examination option will be charged an assessment fee equal to 30% of the current approved in-state on-campus rate for undergraduate and graduate courses. Students requesting evaluation of training not already evaluated by Old Dominion University, will be charged 20% of the current in-state, on-campus rate.
All experiential learning fees will be posted to the student's account. Fees are based on the credit hours attempted and are not refundable if the student does not receive credit as a result of the evaluation. There is no appeal of the fee charge. Portfolio Fees (due at time of submission of portfolio)
Workshop fee $35.00
Assessment $106.00 per credit hour (undergraduate) and $152.00 per credit hour (graduate)
Students must participate in the on-line portfolio workshop before submitting a portfolio. Fees for the workshop are due at time of registration. Assessment fees are due at the time of portfolio submission.
Departmental Exam Fees (due at the time test is administered)
Undergraduate exam $63.00 per credit hour
Graduate exam $91.00 per credit hour
Fees for the portfolio and departmental examination may not be waived or appealed.
Training Evaluation (due at the time of submission of packet)
For students $42.00 per credit hour (undergraduate) and $61.00 per credit hour (graduate)
For Corporations $169.00 per evaluation hour (undergraduate) and $243.00 per evaluation hour (graduate)
