Praxis

The Praxis Series™ tests are taken by individuals entering the teaching profession as part of the certification process required by many states and professional licensing organizations.
If you are not sure about which test to take, check your state testing requirements.

Register for a Praxis™ Test

Register Online

Register By Mail

  • Complete the Computer-delivered Test Authorization Voucher Request Form (PDF) and mail it to ETS. Allow three weeks for delivery of the voucher.
  • Once your request is processed, a voucher number will be sent to you, along with instructions on how to register.
  • Print  your admission ticket and bring it with you to the test center.

Register By Phone

If you have previously created a Praxis account online, you may register by phone. Please note, there is an additional $35 surcharge to use this service. See Register by Phone for additional information.


How to Get Your Scores

For paper-delivered tests, your scores will be available to you online approximately four weeks after your test date. For computer-delivered tests that are offered continuously, your scores will be available online 2-3 weeks after your test date. For computer-delivered tests that are offered during testing windows, your scores will be available online 2-3 weeks after the testing window closes, regardless of the the specific date on which you tested within that window.
